Not Caribbean? No Problem.

Yesterday the #iLBC Team took our love for the culture to the King of Crawfish Festival which took place at Emancipation Park in the historic Third Ward, Houston, Texas. Not only was this our first festival of 2019, it was also our first non-Caribbean festival experience. The reception that we received yesterday was divine confirmation that I Love Being Caribbean is a movement to which all can belong. In just a few hours, we felt the love from lovers of Haiti, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, US Virgin Islands, St. Lucia, Bermuda, Barbados, Jamaica, Trinidad, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Colombia, Venezuela and Panama.

Out of Many, We are One.

Yesterday was not unlike the many instances we’ve connected with others not from Caribbean heritage, who love the culture as much—sometimes more—than we do. We can’t deny those magical moments when we link up with people who have visited the Caribbean, have family from the Caribbean and many who just vibe with her (side note, we always refer to the Caribbean as she/her) culture. This is why #iLBC was launched, to connect the many who love the Caribbean.

Welcome to the Movement!

A huge thank you to those who have recently joined us in our I Love Being Caribbean journey! We’re excited to have you in the community. If you haven’t already, we invite you to join us.

We’re more than apparel. We’re more than parties. We’re an experience. We’re community. We’re for all. We’re here for you.
