Many of you have seen our Black is Beautiful tee, but may not know the story behind it. Chronixx's song was written as a letter to African descendants in America. When I first heard the reggae track, I replayed it no less than 5 times. The lyrics are so beautiful and each time that I listen to the song, I feel a renewed sense of strength and pride. Not only do I love the song, but I LOVE the look on our customers' faces when they read the words on the shirt, pause, nod and light up with pride. Their response confirms that the message resonates with our people and that's exactly what we were hoping for when we envisioned the Black is Beautiful tee. I wear my shirt with pride knowing who I am and who we are collectively.
