Barbados is a beautiful island with so much to offer! Bright blue waters, white and pink sparkled sand and people so lively and lovely that we already know we won’t wanna leave! An island only 14 miles wide and 21 miles long has more attractions than we can take on in 5 days, but we’re up for the challenge and ready to make the most of this epic getaway!

Can I bring my kids?
iLBC Getaways are *mostly* family friendly for families who are open to adult vibes. There will be excursions/activities that are adult only. Nanny services can be available for additional charge. Children that participate in excursions will be charged based on costs of excursion company.

While we too, can appreciate an all-inclusive experience, Global Getaways are intentionally not all-inclusive. We work to source locally owned or operated hotels and work with Bajan  locals to collaborate for the ultimate experience. Getways are off the resort, off the beaten path and conscientiously cultivated for our travelers.

iLBC Global Getaways are intimate. We’re purposeful in offering small intimate tours to ensure a richer experience for all. Unlike large tour groups, traveling with a small group allows us more flexibility for authentic experiences.

Barbados Reggae Festival: 

The global sensation is back in 2023!  Showcasing live performances from the hottest names of reggae from the local, regional and international arena, this festival has made its way onto the calendar of many Caribbean and foreign reggae enthusiasts. Please note, festival events are not included in the getaway package. As festival details are released we can assist in bookings.

Where will I stay?
Travelers will stay at the "cool, colorful and comfortable" Blue Horizon Hotel located by Rockley Beach in Christ Church. With stunning sea and lush garden views, Blue Horizon offers easy access to Rockley Beach across the street, plus more beaches, restaurants, and shops within easy walking distance.

All guests rooms offer a flat screen TV and air conditioning and free wi-fi. In addition to room service, the hotel offers complimentary continental breakfast and has an onsite restaurant and pool.  

Traveling with a Friend: 
Double: 2 double beds or 1 King/Queen bed option. When booking, please include roommate name if traveling with a companion or requesting a roommate.

Solo Traveler Early Bird Rate (5 night option): 
$2,500.00 (includes initial $250 non refundable deposit)

Traveling with a Friend/Companion Early Bird Rate (5 night option):  

$1,900.00 per traveler (includes initial $500 non refundable deposit)

$3,000.00 per travel (includes initial $500 non refundable deposit)

Payment Plan:

You can enroll in our automatic billing and relax knowing that your future payments will be made automatically. When you book, we’ll calculate an evenly divided automatic billing plan for you and you will know in advance the day of every month that your payment will be processed. Your initial deposit is due at the time of booking, and your future payments will be charged according to the schedule you see on your invoice. Automatic billing is available at no charge.

What if I don’t want to do all of the activities?

No problem! We just ask that you give prior notice during your booking so that we may plan accordingly. While the fees won’t change based on your choice to opt out, we honor and respect personal choice and vacation freedom.

Travel Insurance

It is highly recommended that you secure travel insurance. Many credit card companies and other insurance companies (including AAA) include travel insurance as an added benefit, check with yours before purchasing separately. Helpful Travel Notes:

• Please make every effort to book your flight before the end of February 2023 so that we can confirm airport transportation. Please be mindful that we suggest and recommend all attendees should arrive into Barbados on April 26 before 5pm and depart May 1 between 12 – 3pm. Roundtrip airport transportation is included for attendees that arrive April 26 and depart May 1.

• Traveling to Barbados requires a passport valid for six months beyond your travel dates. Please take a look at your passport right now to be sure that you’re not within six months of expiration (as of May 2023). 

• When making your reservations, you can choose to pay in full or select our convenient payment plan. If you select a payment plan, you will be added to our automatic monthly payment plan option and receive monthly notices when your payment method is charged.

• Provided full payment is received no later than your Final Payment Due date, travel documents, itineraries and travel instructions will be sent via email 30 days or earlier prior to travel.

• It is the guests’ responsibility to notify I Love Being Caribbean of all mailing address and email address changes.

• How much spending money will I need in Barbados? This is completely up to you! Most meals range between $25- 30 USD (depending on your dietary preference).

• Currency: The conversion rate is currently $1 BBD to $.50 USD. There will be opportunities for you to exchange money upon arrival.

• In most cases, refunds will not be provided. The only exception is if the trip is cancelled by I Love Being Caribbean. We highly encourage you to secure travel insurance in the event that you have to cancel your plans.
